Brookwood Lacrosse Letter Writing Donation Program

Dear Parents of Brookwood High School Lacrosse players,

We are starting with our Donor Letter Campaign fundraiser this spring to help us raise some much needed funds for our lacrosse program. The Campaign consists of a donation appeal letter being sent to people believed to be interested in helping the Brookwood Lacrosse program.  In order to make this happen, we need for you and your daughter/son to provide us with five (5) or more quality people to whom we can mail the donation appeal letter.  All you have to do is provide the quality names; we will handle everything else.

The preference would be to provide names not in the Brookwood zip code, except for grandparents and local business contacts (i.e. doctors, dentists, financial advisors--places where you spend money).  They should be people such as family members, family friends, and business associates from outside the local area if at all possible.  A sample listing of people might be:

a)  1-2 family members (grandparents, uncles, aunts, close cousins, no brothers and sisters unless considerably older).

b)  1-2 close family friends (remember, not in schools’ attendance area).  Out of town  people are usually best.

c)  1-2 business associates of mother and father.

d) 1-2 local businesses (doctors, dentists, financial advisors, auto repair, etc) which you support.

The example noted above is just a suggestion as one family might wish to provide the names of 5 or more family members, while another might provide the names of 5 or more business associates. The success of this fundraiser depends on the quality of the five (5) or more names provided.  Of course, these people should have some capacity to contribute.  The names are critical!

Please give serious thought to this fundraiser as it replaces other more time consuming and difficult plans. All you have to do to submit your five (5) or more names is to hold down the control key on your keyboard and Click Here. You will find an electronic entry form that will help us build a spreadsheet of names.  If you have trouble with the online form, please use the form included with the initial letter.  The deadline for submitting names is Sunday, February 17th  by 9:00 pm.  Correct spelling, correct addresses, and correct zip codes are very important.

This form can be found on lacrosse website www.brookwoodlax.org in the More+ tab, under the documents tab, fundraiser forms.

Thank you for your interest in helping the students/athletes at Brookwood High School.

Sincerely,

Dru Ulloa
